Regular attendance at school is a legal requirement. Chapmanslade Primary School has better than average attendance. We expect the highest level of attendance from all pupils so that they can participate in all activities and develop their full potential.
Gates open at 8:40am and close at 8:50am.
The timings for our school day are:
Morning Session
8:50am – 12:00pm
Afternoon Session
1:00pm – 3:15pm
Parents must notify the school by telephone on the first day of absence and indicate how long their child is likely to be absent. Parents must telephone again on the 3rd and 5th day of absence. Absences of more than 5 school days should be supported by medical evidence.
