We shall be marking World Book Day on Friday 6th March with a focus on celebrating trustworthy characters in fiction, to link with our Christian Value of TRUST this term.
- Children are invited to speak to their class about their favourite fictional character (from a book not a film), and why they would trust that character. They are welcome to bring in a picture, poster or object that represents their favourite character but this is optional.
- Book Swap – children are invited to bring in a good quality book (on any theme or subject) that they enjoyed but would now like to swap for another. Please only donate books that you are happy to give away as we cannot guarantee that your child will find a suitable alternative in the book swap.
- Every child will receive a sticker and a £1 World Book Day token.
- Please note that we will not be dressing up and all children should wear correct school uniform as usual.
