Welcome
Welcome from the Headteacher
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Chapmanslade Church of England Primary School. Nestled in the heart of our village, our school is more than just a place of learning—it's a vibrant, caring community where every child is valued, nurtured, and inspired to achieve their full potential.
As a small village school, we pride ourselves on our close-knit community and the strong relationships we build with our families. Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to create a supportive and stimulating environment where children feel safe, happy, and motivated to learn. Guided by our Christian ethos—“Love your neighbour as yourself”—we encourage our pupils to become kind, responsible individuals, ready to meet the world with confidence and compassion.
We are proud of our school's achievements and the positive feedback we receive from families and visitors. Our most recent Ofsted inspection (March 2023) reaffirmed our status as a ‘Good’ school. Our subsequent SIAMS inspection (October 2024) was extremely positive. Both inspections praised the dedication of our team and the enthusiasm of our children.
If you are considering Chapmanslade for your child, I invite you to explore our prospectus here to learn more about our curriculum, values, and daily life at the school. Should you have any questions or wish to arrange a visit, please don’t hesitate to get in touch - we would love to welcome you in person and show you what makes our school so special.
Please contact Mrs McCall (morning) or Ms Turrell (afternoon) in the school office on 01373 832367 [link to phone] or email us at admin@chapmanslade.wilts.sch.uk for all enquiries.
With warm regards,
Robert Cottrell
