KS1 West Wiltshire Dance Festival

Pupils from our KS1 Dance Festival Club performed at Bath Forum!

A group of pupils from Years 1 and 2 travelled to Bath Forum with teachers to participate in the West Wiltshire Dance Festival. The theme for this year's dances was books. Throughout the afternoon, they took part in several workshops including a rehearsal for their performance; a cinema workshop; a mindfulness/yoga session; a games session; and a creative booklet session. 

Later on, parents and family came to watch all of the pupils' performances on the (big!) stage at Bath Forum. Our school's dance was based on 'Room on the Broom' by Julia Donaldson. Dancing to the Witch Doctor', we had great fun with our energetic and catchy routine!

We can't wait for next year's performance already!
