Celebratory Music Performance in Church

We celebrated pupils' musical talents in church with a service dedicated to just music. 

When we visit church for services, we always give several pupils the opportunity to demonstrate their talents; welcoming in our parents prior to the services beginning. This has become ever more popular, with more and more pupils performing. For the first time, this July, we held a dedicated service in church to celebrate music within our school.

We heard performances from several pianists, guitarists, a drummer, our recorder group, choir and KS2 pupils also performed several songs from the recent Fairy Queen Opera Project (see news).

It was a wonderful, well-attended celebration and lovely to welcome parents to share more of our creative side. Staff were incredibly proud of everyone who performed. We definitely plan to make this an annual event!
