Bishop Moses and Mama Rejoice from South Sudan Visit Redwood Class!

This Thursday we were very fortunate to host a visit from Bishop Moses and Mama Rejoice from Meridi, South Sudan.

The bishop and his wife are currently visiting our local clergy. Reverand Maynard, one of our Academy Councillors and current local reverand organised a visit to the school. Our visitors had a quick tour of the school and then met with Redwood Class, who had the opportunity to find out more about their roles and about South Sudan. Redwood had some wonderful questions (with equally wonderful answers)!

As you may be aware, as part of our global link, Chapmanslade School sponsors a pupil who studies in Juba, South Sudan so it was a perfect opportunity for us to hear more about the impact of these type of projects and about school and church life in South Sudan.
